Laurie Ann (Buchholz) Hack, 52, of Nikiski passed away on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018 at Central Peninsula Hospital.

Laurie was born on Nov. 5, 1965 to Eugene and Laura Buccholz in Pierre, South Dakota. She was raised in Harrold, South Dakota, where she lived on a small farm. Her senior year of high school, her family moved to Casper, Wyoming, where she met her husband of 34 years, Frank Hack. They were married in a small church there in Casper. They went on to have five sons, whom she cared for deeply.

Laurie was always into crafts. She loved to sew, paint, etch glass, make jellies and can her own food. She also made candles and beautiful rope wreaths. She liked porcelain dolls and lighthouses.

Laurie was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her sister Beverly Cantleberry, and her half-brother Dave Upton.
She is survived by her children, Brian, Michael, Kristofor, Aaron and Ethan Hack; her brothers, Leonard and Dennis Buchholz; and her grandchildren, Lynnea, Alan, Kari and Gage Hack, Odin Hack, and Nikolai Hack.

Her family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
