Longtime Sterling resident Robin Jill Johnson, 55, passed away Monday, Nov. 6, 2017 at Central Peninsula Hospital in Soldotna.

A private celebration of her life will be held in her honor.

Robin was born Feb. 10, 1962 in John Day, Oregon. She moved to Alaska in 1985 and settled in Sterling.

Robin was a Christian who enjoyed music, flowers, and rescuing animals.

Her family wrote, "Robin was a loving and devoted mother, sister, and irreplaceable friend. She was truly a blessing to have in our lives. She loved spending time with family and friends, sharing laughter, making memories and dancing under the stars. Rest In Peace Beautiful."

Robin was preceded in death by her parents, Darius F. and Martha G. Dayton.

She is survived by her son, Douglas Archambault; her fiancé, Johnny E. Evans; sisters, Irene Adams, Susie Eaton and Jan Sears; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Arrangements were by Peninsula Memorial Chapel in Kenai.
