Longtime Kenai resident Virginia Lucille "Gina" Morse, 64, passed away Monday, Oct. 30, 2017 at Charis Place in Kenai.
A private family service will be held in her honor.

Gina was born Mar. 23, 1953 at Parks Air Force Base in California and was a high school graduate. She moved to Alaska in 1992 and had lived in Soldotna before later moving to Kenai.

Gina was a Christian and enjoyed listening to music, reading and expressing her artistic abilities.

Her family wrote, "Virginia was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and irreplaceable friend. She was a true blessing to have in our lives. She loved spending time with family and friends, sharing laughter and making memories."

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie Howard and Laura Virginia (Brown) Hubbell and a brother, Joe Hubble.

Gina is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Don Lee Morse II and Stacy Marie Goodnight and Nelson David and Christine Marie Morse; grandchildren, Timothy Jay and Dolton Lewis Goodnight, and Taylor Ann and Tori Lynn Morse, all of Kenai; and a sister, Corinne Danley of Moore, South Carolina.

Arrangements were by Peninsula Memorial Chapel in Kenai.
