Kenai resident Jesse James Lindsay, 26, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Aug. 11, 2014 at his home.
A private service will be held at Cunningham Park at a later date.
Jesse was born Nov. 10, 1987 in Modesto, Calif. He moved to Alaska in January 2002. He began working in the Garden Department at Home Depot in April 2014.
He enjoyed raising ducks, geese and quail, and he also enjoyed spending time with his family.
"Jesse was a very caring person with a huge heart. He is loved by all who knew him and will be truly missed. Jesse enjoyed nights by the fire pit and days by the lake fishing. His family was the world to him. Gone but never forgotten brother," his family said.
Jesse was preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca Dedrick, uncles, Donny, Bob and Jim Dedrick Jr., and his grandfather, Jim Dedrick Sr.
He is survived by his father, Gary Lindsay of Kenai; brothers, Chris Lindsay of Grants Pass, Oregon and Tyler Lindsay of Kenai; nieces, Leila and Lydia Lindsay of Soldotna, and Anna and Faera Lindsay of Kenai.
