Longtime Alaskan and Kasilof resident Willis D. "Bill" Casey, 92, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013 at his home.

Bill was born Aug. 19, 1920 in Elma, Wash. He graduated high school and served in the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Chief Machinist's Mate from 1940-46.
He retired from the Operating Engineers.
Bill loved his parrot and dogs.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Ruby Casey and Frances Casey and a granddaughter, Lisa Harner.
Bill is survived by his daughters, Carol Quimby, Gloria Blackman and Colleen Graham, all of Elma, Wash.; granddaughters, Tammy Walker of Olympia, Wash., Kimberly Heck of Elma, Wash., Lana Frisvold of Seattle, Wash., Jessica Casey of Elma, Wash., and Ruby Hartford of Elma, Wash.; grandsons, Ken Brogan of Olympia, Wash., and Tim and Tom Brogan, both of Rainier, Wash.; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Carl Casey and wife, Margrette of Soldotna; sister, Glady Yundt of Anchorage; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were by Peninsula Memorial Chapel in Kenai.
