Marsha Ann Munro(May 2, 1956 - March 8, 2014)



Marsha Ann Munro was born to Tom and Sally Munro at Olympic Memorial Hospital in Port Angeles.

She passed away in Port Angeles surrounded by her loving family.

Marsha attended Jefferson Elementary School, and after graduating from Port Angeles High School in 1974, she began a banking career at Seafirst Bank in Bremerton and Seattle, Washington.

Returning to Port Angeles, she was office manager at Sequim Safeway. Upon receiving her health care assistant degree, she became the biller and coder for the emergency room at Olympic Medical Center.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church and a school volunteer for her daughter, Staci, and granddaughter, Elizabeth. She enjoyed being with family, friends and pets; traveling; and gardening.

Marsha was a source of inspiration, respect and resiliency. Her legacy will never fade, her spirit will always be with us, and her love will live forever in our hearts.

Survivors include her daughter, Staci Munro; the joy of her life, granddaughter Elizabeth Munro-Sanders; brother Tom (Pam) Munro; sisters Judy Munro and Linda Dykema; nephew Danny (Amber) Dykema; and nieces Kristi (Andy) Borchers, Kim (Joe) Politika, Kathy (Jeff) Adams and Kelly (Chris) Munro. She also leaves behind eight great-nieces and -nephews.

A celebration of her life will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 14, at Drennan-Ford Funeral Home, 260 Monroe Road, Port Angeles, with Pastor Joey Olson officiating.
