Arthur P. "Art" Paulovcin passed away unexpectedly of a stroke April 20, 2018. He was born the oldest of seven children to Paul and Shirley Paulovcin in Cleveland, Ohio.
He was a school bus driver in Port Angeles from 2001-2017. Before that he was a truck driver for Keal Driveaway in Dublin, Virginia, for 38 years. He also served 4 years in the Air Force and several years in the Air Force Reserves, including time in Germany during Operation Desert Storm.

He married Karen Atkinson on August 10, 1991, in Blacksburg Virginia, where they lived until 1999. They had 28 wonderful years together where they loved and lived life to the fullest.

They moved to Sequim in 1999. He loved the Lord, his church, his pastors, his family, friends and his Harley. He and Karen rode many miles from the east coast to the west coast and lots of points in between.

He is survived by his loving wife Karen, his brother William, sisters Sue Mary and Shirley. Stepchildren Robin Miller, Greg Atkinson and Kim Atkinson, 10 grandchildren and 5½ great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and stepdaughter Jeannie (Tom) Bates.

The church held a wonderful service for him April 28, 2018, with internment with full military honors at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington on May 9, 2018. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, family, his church and many friends.
