Louise Marie Pusillo was born in Brooklyn in New York City on July 10, 1919, to Louis and Josephine Pusillo, Italian immigrants who came to America looking for a better life.
Louise was the fourth-born child out of 13 children and helped her mother care for the younger children.
Louise endured much loss in her life and was widowed three times, but her marriages blessed her with eight children.
Louise married Floyd Kautz in October of 1998, and they recently celebrated their 15th anniversary together.
Louise enjoyed cooking delicious meals for her family and spending time with her great-grandchildren. She loved babies and had an uncanny gift for correctly guessing the gender of unborn babies.
In her younger years, she enjoyed camping and picnicking with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Floyd Kautz; sons Donald Yuhasz, Robert (Nancy) Yuhasz, George Link and Kenneth (Patricia) Yuhasz; daughters Barbara (Jeff) Dixon, Karen (Brian) McTigue and Nancy (Steve) Coyle; daughter-in-law Alice Yuhasz; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son William Yuhasz.
Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her much joy in the last years of her life.
A private celebration of her life was held on November 24, 2013.
