Mark Ward of Seattle, Washington, passed away unexpectedly on August 8, 2014, at the age of 43.
He was born in Seattle on May 5, 1971, to Thomas and June Elizabeth (Millholland) Ward.
He attended St. Luke's Elementary School, Ingraham High School, Northwest Technical Institute and North Seattle Community College. His work included positions at PC Trade, Fred Meyer, Burke Cafe and, most recently, Pro Sports Club in Bellevue, Washington.
He attended Calvary Christian Assembly with his family and Mars Hill Church.
We will miss Mark's incomparable wit, which set him apart and made him who he was; his sense of humor; and playful pranks.
Mark's passions included anything and everything related to technology. He enjoyed 5K runs, obstacle runs and the yearly Bahokus Peak Challenge. Mark was proud to be a member of the Makah tribe and leaves behind many friends and relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father, Tom Ward; and grandparents Ken and Ruth Ward, Esther Lucy and Ernest Millholland.
He leaves behind his loving mother, June Ward, and brother Tom Ward. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
A visitation took place on Thursday, August 14, 2014, at Harper-Ridgeview Funeral Chapel in Port Angeles.
A celebration of life was held the next day, August 15, at Lighthouse Christian Center in Port Angeles. A graveside funeral service followed at the Neah Bay Cemetery.
