Pearl D. (Dunn) Andersen was born on September 28, 1933, in Poulsbo, Washington, to David and Edith Dunn.
She left her loving family on October 1, 2013.
She is survived by her husband, George Andersen, of the family home in Port Angeles.
She is also survived by her two sons, Andrew (Kathy) Andersen and Eric Andersen, both of Port Angeles; grandson and caregiver Cody Andersen of Port Angeles; and her sisters, Dickie Johnson and Donna Palmer, both of Bainbridge Island.
She graduated from Mount Si High School in North Bend, Washington, in 1951. She joined the Air Force in 1951, completing her boot camp in San Antonio, Texas. She served her remaining Air Force career at Hamilton Air Force Base.
She later married George Andersen on September 19, 1951.
She was an avid bowler, loved sewing and was very proud of her garden.
In the 1960s, she worked for Granny's Cafe and Lake Sutherland Hotel.
In the 1970s, she worked for Hegg & Hegg Fish Market until she had a massive stroke at the age of 44 and was confined to a wheelchair for the rest of her life.
She will be greatly missed.
