James Williams Obituary



James Williams Sr., 72, of LaPush passed away November 9, 2011, of natural causes.

He was born September 12, 1939, in Forks to Nellie Williams.

James married Priscilla Ellen Williams on November 2, 1957.

He enjoyed hunting and sport fishing. Mr. Williams was a member of the Shaker Church.

He is survived by his son, Mark Williams; daughters Teresa Williams, Dana Williams, Roseann Fonzi, Kristi Williams and Jami Kay Williams; brother Leo Williams; sister Mary Jane Williams; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; his dog, Girlie; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie; his wife, Priscilla; his son, James Williams Jr.; his brothers, Howard Williams, Alvin Williams, Paul Richards and Johnny Richards; and sister Harriet Williams.

A funeral will be held today, November 16, 2011, at 1 p.m. at the LaPush A-ka-lat Community Center. A reception will follow after the service. Burial will take place at the Quileute Cemetery.

Jamesy you will always be remembered, such a nice man. I remember Jamesy made film of our undefeated jr. high football team, with mark and others playing and me being a cheerleader. Also the times he would come and visit my parents on mora road. Mom said Jamesy was always so nice to her :) R.I.P. God Bless you All
