She worked in banking in both Port Angeles and Bellingham, Washington, before becoming a real estate broker and then a limited practicing officer (LPO) at various title companies in Bellingham, Sequim and Port Angeles.
Gail's children and grandchildren filled her heart with love and were an integral part of her life. No sacrifice was too great for any one of them.
Her life was also filled to overflowing with loving and supportive family and friends. Her best credo for life was: "Never hold a grudge, and always be forgiving."
She was married to Robert Enos in 1964.
She remarried in 1971 to James Neske, and together, they started their family.
She is survived by her sons, Tony (Gabriella) Neske of Seattle and Joseph Neske of Port Angeles; daughter Alexis Neske of Port Angeles; brother Jeff (Linda) Shold of Sequim; brother-in-laws Gary (Mary) Neske and Rick Neske of Port Angeles; sisters-in-law Joan Neske Pennington of Marysville, Washington, and Carol Neske of Port Angeles; and grandchildren Teana, Isabella, Sage, Gaje, Alexander, Roman and Hunter.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Jean Shold; and her husband, James Neske.
Gail enjoyed camping, clamming, playing cards, family gatherings, the Shold Norwegian Christmas parties, gardening, crocheting and annual trips to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and Hamma Hamma, as well as other fun activities with close friends.
Her laughter and enjoyment always made her participation special for everyone involved.
Gail's love of and enthusiasm for life was abundant, and she will be sorely missed by all those touched by her throughout her lifetime.
A celebration of her life will take place on Saturday, March 23, 2013, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the SunLand Golf & Country Club ballroom, 109 Hilltop Drive, Sequim.
