James Addleman Obituary

James Reed Addleman passed away April 28, 2013.

James was born September 22, 1987, in Forks. His family moved in 1990 to Port Angeles, where James attended school, graduating in 2006 from Port Angeles High School.

He loved working outdoors and received his commercial driver's license to work with heavy equipment in Homer, Alaska, where he worked for his Uncle Ron demolishing decommissioned vessels as project manager.

James returned to Washington and worked for Ray Winney, building logging roads in Clallam County.

He purchased his own home in 2011 and was proud of it.

James has a core of friends from childhood whom he continued to remain close to. He cherished those friendships.

James especially loved little 4-year-old Wyatt, the son of his friend Jennifer, whom he treated as his own.

He adored his sister, Kendra, and his brother, Zach, was his best friend.

James enjoyed hunting, hanging out with friends, work, caring for Wyatt, coming home to Mom and Dad for family dinners and watching Seattle Seahawks games with friends and family.

James was baptized and a confirmed member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Port Angeles.

James is survived by parents Dwight and Carolynn Addleman; sister Kendra; brother Zachary (Meagan) Addleman; grandparents Roger and Valerie Addleman, Mary Addleman and Ursula Smith; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 301 East Lopez Avenue, Port Angeles, at 2 p.m., with a reception to follow in the church's fellowship hall.

Memorial contributions may be made to Seattle Children's Hospital, M/S S-200, P.O. Box 5371, Seattle, WA 98145-5005; or the James Reed Addleman Memorial Fund at any First Federal branch.
