Lucille M. Brubaker, 69, of StoneRidge Poplar Run, Myerstown, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2017, at the Poplar Run. She was the wife of the late Larry R. Brubaker.
Born in Mechanicsburg on September 21, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Emory L. and Nedra A. Brown Pyle. Lucy, along with her late husband, started Manada Construction Co. in 1969. She was a devoted member of Faith U.C.C., Grantville, where she served on the Consistory and played in their bell choir. She was also a member of the Ladies Committee of Bethany Children's Home and the Society of Farm Women, serving as the president of the local and county chapters.
She is survived by her son Jeffrey R. and his wife Heidi Brubaker of Fredericksburg; daughters Lisa B. wife of Ernie Henry of Virginville and Kelly J. wife of Dan Fox of Newmanstown; step-son Vaughn E. and his wife Sharon Brubaker of Myerstown; step-daughter Teresa wife of Ted Barnes of Grantville; brothers Ernie L. Pyle of McAlisterville and Fred I. Pyle of Stuttgart, Germany; sisters Susan E. Kerstetter of Newport and Florence E. Burchfield of Mexico, PA; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother Stanley E. Pyle.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017, at 12 noon at the Faith U.C.C., 117 N. Faith Rd., Grantville. A visitation at the church will be held beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service. Interment will follow at the Hamlin Cemetery.
