Marie S. Maple
1927 - 2014
Marie S. Maple, age 87, of Pace, FL, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014. She was born March 18, 1927 in Pace, FL to the late Douglas Hamilton and Dottie Hudson Hamilton.
Marie worked for the Civil Service for 35 years and retired. She loved fishing, crocheting, reading and her beloved yard, she loved spending time in the yard raking leaves, working with flowers and her yard was always manicured. She had served as President of the Ladies Auxiliary in the Fleet Reserves and was a member of the Elks.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Lorry Allen Stewart, Sr. and Billy Dean Maple; and her son, Lorry "Spooky" Allen Stewart, Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Yvonne "Sissy" (Ron) Jarzab of Gulf Breeze; grandchildren, Trent (Karrisa) Stewart and Brock Stewart of Pace, FL; and great grandchildren, Seth Stewart and Sammie Stewart.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 11 AM at National Cremation & Burial Society. Interment will follow in Memory Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, July 25, 2014 from 6 until 8 PM.
National Cremation & Burial Society of Milton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

sissy so sorry about marie.. we just found out mom was just talking about her so i looked up on internet mom and her were like sisters and bill and dad were brothers we loved them alot.

Sissy and family, We were so sorry to hear about Ms. Marie's passing. She and Billy D were a huge part of our lives. They were both wonderful people and neighbors. Please accept our deepest condolences.

Marie was the last of my Hamilton first cousins. I remember her taking care of her mother, son and others. Condolences to family.

It was always a joy to visit with Marie. She will be sorely missed. We believe there is a special place in heaven for her. She was a blessing to everyone and especially to our Aunt Margarette Lassiter, for they shared much.
