Ii, Irvin V. Lytton
Irvin V. Lytton II 1947-2015 Mr. Irvin V. Lytton II, 67, of Pensacola passed away May 11, 2015. Born in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Irvin Lytton and Elizabeth Brooks Lytton. He is survived by his sister, Rosalind Lytton Cramer and brother-in-law John Cramer of Durham NC, and several cousins and aunts. He was a graduate of Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas and was a Sigma Nu Fraternity member. While residing in Houston, he pursued a real estate career with Fox and Jacobs, where he received multiple sales and leadership awards. Also, while in Texas, he worked as a consultant to other new home sales and real estate development companies. He served as a MC for charity fund-raising events for the American Cancer Society. After moving to the Pensacola area, he worked as a real estate broker, and also at radio station WEBY, in Milton in sales and marketing. He was active in local and national politics and was an active supporter of The American Veterans, Pensacola Navy League, various children's societies, and the PBS network. He loved aviation, especially the Blue Angels, football and baseball events, the Gulf Coast beaches and Jimmy Buffet music. He had an infectious, upbeat, personality and courageous spirit. Due to his declining health, he spent his most recent days at The Health Center of Pensacola, where he received very compassionate care. The family wishes to express their appreciation and thanks to The Health Center of Pensacola and to Emerald Coast Hospice. The family is also grateful to his many wonderful personal caregivers; with special thanks to Sherell Benjamin and Margie Heard for their devoted, Christian care of Mr. Lytton. To his lifelong friends, Linda Miller and Thurman Miles of Beaumont Texas, Judi Sutherland of Jacksonville, Fl and to Diane DeMorro of Pensacola, thank you for your love and support. Funeral Services will be Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 2 PM at National Cremation & Burial Society in Milton with Father Richard Schamber officiating. Interment will follow in adjacent Memory Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 PM until the service hour.
