Gallo, Anthony J. "Tony"  
Anthony J. Gallo 1915 - 2015 Anthony J. "Tony" Gallo, age 99, of Gulf Breeze, passed away on April 24, 2015. Born in Staten Island, New York, Tony spent most of his working years as a butcher in New York and Pennsylvania. Tony is a veteran of World War II, having served in the U. S. Army from June 1943 until July 1946 where he earned the American Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Barbara Welsch Gallo; his daughter Gale Ulmer of Coral Springs, FL: son Richard Gallo of Clearwater, FL; and step-sons Steve Williams of Kunkletown PA, and Robert Williams of Germansville PA. He was preceded in death by his parents Anthony Gallo and Caroline Nola Gallo. He was a member of St. Sylvester Catholic Church and a Third Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus Council #13277. A funeral mass will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 1, 2015 at St. Sylvester Catholic Church in Gulf Breeze with Father John Kelly officiating. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the funeral mass. Burial will follow in Barrancas National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to Rose Lawn Funeral Home of Gulf Breeze. Gill, Joshua  
Joshua Michael Gill 2000-2015 Joshua Michael Gill, age 14 of Pensacola, FL passed away Friday, April 24, 2015. He is known for his fun-loving personality and being a prankster. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Richard "Dick" Gill; paternal great-grandparents, Christ Norris and Mary Preston; maternal great-grandparents, Marion "Jack" and Louise Ard; and Uncle Richard Ard. He is survived by his loving mother, Wanda Gill and father, Christopher Gill; paternal grandmother, Karen Gill; maternal grandparents, Frank and Cecelia Ard; many aunts, uncles, and his cousin, Jessica Merritt; and his best buddy, Keshawn Norris. The family wishes to extend their utmost thanks to Pensacola Pediatrics-Dr. Heather Lenga; Pediatric Services of America; the doctors and nurses at Children's Health Care of Atlanta; and Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and his teacher. The family will receive friends at Ensley United Methodist Church from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Reverend Gina Bryan and Reverend Jesse R. Evans, Jr. will be officiating. Ensley United Methodist Church is located at 25 E. Johnson Avenue. Interment will follow at Myrtle Grove Methodist Church Cemetery. Godwin, Jack  
Jack R. Godwin 1937-2015 Jack R. Godwin, age 77, of Pensacola passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2015 surrounded by family and loved ones. Jack was a man loved by all. He never had a bad word to say about anyone or anything. Jack had a wonderful sense of humor and kept his loved ones laughing, always. Jack loved God, his country, his family and worked hard to take care of everyone. Jack taught his children and grandchildren to be respectful and responsible. The world needs more outstanding men like Jack Godwin. Heaven has gained the best of the best. Jack was a veteran of the USAF. He retired as a Sergeant after 27 years with the Florida Highway Patrol. He was a lifelong member of Richards Memorial United Methodist Church and was a charter member of the Brownsville Boys Social Club. Jack is survived by Pat, his wife of 58 1/2 years; children, Pam (Billy) Watson, Linda (David) Mong, Doug (Mary) Godwin and Jason (Jennifer) Godwin; grandchildren, Mitchell, Jared, Jill, Janna, Patrick, Jennifer, Steven, Cameron, Jordyn and Justin; twelve great grandchildren; and brother, Creal (Lynell) Godwin. Trahan Family Funeral Home, 419 Yoakum Court, is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 8:30 am until the service begins at 9:00 am on Monday, May 4, 2015. Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery. Griffith, Ruth Elizabeth (Judy)  
Ruth (Judy) Elizabeth Griffith 1924 - 2015 Ruth (Judy) Griffith of Cantonment, FL, born March 12, 1924, went to be with the Lord April 25, 2015. She was 91 years old. She was a loving mother who loved her children. She loved to fish and to be with her family. She always loved going to garage sales and buying other peoples stuff to give it back to someone else. She was a thoughtful person who always put other people before herself. She attended and was a member of Pine Forest Assembly of God Church. She loved her church family and her Pastor, Bro Gene. She will always be in our hearts and prayers. We will miss you dearly. Judy was married to Donald Manuel Griffith and had five children, Daniel Clifford Griffith (Patricia), Dennis Manuel Griffith (Virginia), Gloria Jeanetta Griffith, Glenda Wonnette Weekley (Edward) and Clifford Cleveland Griffith (Becky); 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She was born in Covel, WV and is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Manuel Griffith; mother, Margie Oakley Perdue; father, Robert McKinley Martin; sisters, Madeline Pellizzeri and Ethel Stifford and brother Junior Martin. Visitation will take place Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Pine Forest Assembly of God with Bro. Gene Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in Pensacola Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers: Danny Ray Griffith, Donald Lynn Griffith, Dennis (Bubba) Griffith, Wayne Clifford Griffith, Coy Edward Carter, III, Jason Donald Weekley and Joshua L. Weekley. Gunter, Margaret  
Margaret A. Gunter 1921 - 2015 Margaret Adams Gunter, 93, born in Cottondale, FL, passed away at home April 27, 2015 in Pensacola, FL. Margaret loved to travel and before the death of her husband she was very active in supporting the US Military. Her greatest loves were her grandson, Cameron Dozier and spending time at her home. She was a member of Pine Forest United Methodist Church. In 1938 Margaret was selected to be Miss Cottondale at the 1st National Peanut Festival in Dothan, AL, an event which is ongoing today. Margaret was preceded in death by her loving husband, M.M. Gunter, Jr.; her parents: James Mallory and Alice Roberson Adams; her sister: Monette Adams; brother, Bubba Adams and daughter, Dianne Hogg. Survivors include her daughter: Camilla Gunter Lawrence (Timothy) Dozier; son, M.M. (Barbara) Gunter III; grandson: Cameron Dozier; and special loving neighbors: Pat & Pete Holt and Rita & Gary Bagwell. Special thanks to Covenant Hospice for being so gentle and caring during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Covenant Hospice, 5041 N. 12th Ave; Pensacola, FL 32504. The family will receive friends at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
