Gafford, Robert  
Robert Rand Gafford 1925-2014 Robert Rand Gafford, 89, of Cantonment, Florida, beloved father, grandfather, and friend, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 16, 2014. Mr. Gafford was a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a career salesman and loved meeting and serving people. He was a Bible scholar and taught Sunday school for most of his adult life. After retiring, Mr. Gafford settled in the Mobley Creek community and was privileged to lead the music program at Mobley Creek Baptist Church for almost twenty years. He was a devoted husband and father who loved and cared for his family. He is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Ward Gafford; mother, Bertha Hassell Sheffield; and son-in-law, Jeff Bates. Mr. Gafford is survived by his children, Ramona Gafford Wright, Raleigh Gafford, and Regena Gafford Bates; grandchildren, Jason (Angie) Wright, Amber Wright, Kelsey Bates (Tre) Jablonski, Kaitlyn Bates; five great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North. A visitation will also be held on Monday, December 22, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at Mobley Creek Baptist Church, 2367 Brooklyn Road, Andalusia, Alabama, 36421. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Terry Powell and Rev. Billy Boles, officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Mobley Creek Baptist. Gentzel, Gail  
Gail Buchanan Gentzel Gail Buchanan Gentzel of Gulf Breeze, Florida passed peacefully from this life on November 1, 2014 surrounded by family, passing into eternal life with God. Born March 12, 1940, in Philadelphia, Gail was one of two children of John and Alma Buchanan. Gail spent her formative years in Pennsylvania, attended Penn State University, and became a teacher of marketing and fashion merchandising at the University of Nevada, Mount Saint Mary's College, and the University of Tennessee. It was at Penn State where she met her husband, Walter Eugene (Gene) Gentzel. Gail was joined in marriage to Gene on August 27, 1967. They recently celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary. After spending time at Temple University in Philadelphia, Gail and Gene moved to Pensacola, Florida and lived there for more for than 30 years. Gail maintained enduring friendships throughout her life, from all parts of the country. Gail had a vivacious personality and was always full of energy and wit. She certainly enjoyed life to the fullest through travel, art, and style. Gail was an avid and accomplished quilter, a member of the Pensacola Quilters' Guild and the American Quilting Society, and had works featured in the Pensacola Museum of Art. She was also a wonderful mother to Harry, her dog of eight years. Gail is survived by her beloved husband, Gene, two sons, Kevin and Brett; two daughters-in-law, Sandriel and Courtney; and three granddaughters, Francesca, Lucinda, and Perry. Paula Michele Gill Paula Gill of Gulf Breeze FL passed away on November 11 2014. She is survived by her husband Norman T Gill of Gulf Breeze, sons Larry Mohr, Gregory Gill and grandsons Alex and Tristan Mohr of Gulf Breeze. Her Parents Lawrence and Barbara Hoppe of Oklahoma City Oklahoma, Brothers David and Gregory Hoppe and extended family in Pensacola and Des Moines IA. She was loved very dearly and deeply and will be missed very much each day. She requested no service and arrangements were handled by Waters and Hibbert Funeral home. Col. Louis W. Grant, USAF (ret) 1943-2014 Col. Louis W. Grant, USAF (ret.), 71, died peacefully on Sunday, December 14, 2014 in Navarre, FL. He was born on June 8, 1943 in Wichita Falls, TX to Louis and Kathleen (Carlisle) Grant. Lou honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force and retired after 27 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife of 37 years, Gwendolyn D. Grant. He is survived by his children; Kelly Grant Stout (Chris) of Richardson, TX, Ryan Louis Grant (Julia) of Midlothian, VA; five grandchildren, Tyler, Ashley and Emily Grant, Preston and Brayden Stout; sister, Karen Grant Yerby of Shreveport, LA and brother Bob Grant of Pineville, LA. Visitation will be held at 10:00am Saturday, December 20, 2014 until the Funeral Service at 11:00am at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park with full military honors.
