Brandon Colt Richie
Our beloved son, Brandon Colt Richie, 30, of Pensacola, Fl, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, October 21, 2012.
Brandon graduated from J.M. Tate High School in 2000 with honors and later attended PJC and USA, earning an AA degree in Medicine. He started his career as a Volunteer Fireman
at Beulah Fire Department, then went on to earn his EMT and Paramedic certification. Brandon worked at Escambia County EMS, Lifeguard Ambulance Service, Sacred Heart ER and taught at the PJC EMT and Paramedic Programs. He often tutored students when necessary. Brandon was a member of Escambia Lodge No. 15, the Hadji Shrine and member of First United Methodist Church.
In his spare time Brandon enjoyed hunting, fishing, Nascar, Red Sox baseball and most of all FSU football. Brandon loved spending time with his family and friends.
Brandon leaves behind to celebrate his life and cherish many memories his mom, Kay Richie (Phillip Lucchesi); dad, Robert "Bobby" (Judy) Richie; sister, Amanda (Daniel) Bennett; brother, Allen (Danielle) Salter; nieces and nephews, Kaden, Kyler, Kendal, Kennedi, and Kason; grandparents, Ruth "Nanny" Richie, Anibel "Mimi" Tyrrell, Gordon "Big Daddy" (Rose Marie "Rie") Tyrrell; and many special aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his emergency response family in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 26, 2012 at First United Methodist Church, 6 East Wright Street at 1:00 p.m. with funeral services starting at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens on Pine Forest Road.
Trahan Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Active Pallbearers will be Troy Zaremba, Kara Zaremba, Mark Rea, Don Lee, Richard Fulton, Robbie Street, James Madarena, and Jody Nezochich.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Adam Edwards, J.C. Pender, Julie Pender, Melissa Tucker, Nate Tucker, Kevin Merritt, and Mary Merritt.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hadji Shrine's Children's Transportation Fund in honor of Brandon Colt Richie.
