Carol Taylor, 76, of Pensacola, FL, died Friday, March 7, 2014.
She was born in Everett, Mass. and a resident of Pensacola since 1975. She worked at Hancock Fabrics from 1982 until 2003 and also volunteered at the Escambia County Probation Office from 1984 to 1986. Carol was an avid painter, with man of her murals hanging in Pensacola homes. She was also a Birder, enjoying feeding, taking care of, and talking to the local birds.
Survivors include her husband, John (LNCM, USN (Ret.); two daughters and sons-in-law, Laureen and CDR Raymond Drake, USN and Jo Anne and CAPt Daniel MacInnis, USN; two granddaughters, Danielle Victoria MacInnis and Veronica Rae Drake; good friends Wayne and Billie Grothe; her long haired Chihuahu's Blondie and Teddie; and other relatives.
Many thanks to the wonderful, caring folks at UniHealth Santa Rosa and Covenant Hospice. Their professional and loving assistance to Carol during these past years made her life easier during this transition.
Carol will be cremated ant interred at Barrancas National Cemetery at a private ceremony.
National Cremation & Burial Society of Milton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
