Danny Richard Rolett
Danny Richard Rolett, 58, of Pensacola went to heaven to be with his father, mother, brother and sister on Friday, April 19, 2013. He was born in Flint, Michigan, son of the late Elton Andrew Rolett and late Annie Rachel Rolett (Robertson). Mr. Rolett was in the graphic arts and design business for over 20 years. He had a passion and keen eye for photography, creating the most beautiful images and custom driftwood frames in the Gulf Coast which led to the evolution of Serenity Prints by Dan. He had an endless support for our troops both home and abroad and was the originator of 1000 Thanks for the Troops founded on January 15, 2009. Dan also loved guitar picking on his EKO, listening to and supporting local musicians and songwriters, Gulf Coast seafood and shrimping. In his younger years, he was a shrimper for over five years.
He was predeceased by his parents, Elton and Annie Rolett; brother, Bobby Andrew Rolett and sister, Brenda Gail Rolett.
He leaves behind, his wife Patty Ann of 34 years; daughter, U.S. Army Major Angela Marie Malikowski and her husband, Randy, currently stationed at Fort Bragg, NC; granddaughter, Morganne Anderlynne Butler of Pensacola, FL; sister, Sue Bradner of Pensacola, FL; nephews, Sammy and Randy Perlman of Pensacola, FL; niece, Kelly Valentin of Sacramento, CA; in-laws, Viola and Bruce Meredith of Pensacola, FL and leaves behind vast family, friends and loved ones.
A celebration of the life of Dan Rolett will be held at the "Star Pavillion" at Johnson's Beach in Perdido Key, FL at 5:30pm on Thursday, April 25, 2013 with Pastor Jeremy Mount officiating. All who knew Mr. Rolett are invited to attend.
