Edwin D. Lewis
Edwin D. Lewis of Pensacola, died Thursday November 29, 2012.
Mr. Lewis was born in Asphalt, Kentucky on March 9th, 1938 and formerly resided in Chesterton, Indiana prior to moving to Pensacola 8 years ago. He was the retired business owner of a Dairy Queen in Chesterton, Indiana, which he owned and operated for 36 years.
Mr. Lewis was a member of Pace Church of Christ, and a member of the Panhandle Cruisers Car Club.
He is preceded in death by his father, Cecil Lewis, mother, Edna Lewis, and sister, Sheila Chaney.
He is survived by his loving wife, Judith D. Lewis; Son, Barry (Catherine) Lewis; Daughter, Tracey Lundy; Stepsons, Patrick Mitchell, David (Patty) Mitchell, Sean (Tiffany) Mitchell; Stepdaughters, Diane (Rex) Hodges, Mary (Steve) Peterson; Brother, Dannie (Jackie) Lewis; Sister, Sharon (Larry) Jackson; 23 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 5, 2012 from 10 A.M. till the service begins at 11 A.M. in the chapel of Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
