Floyd L. Pace

Floyd L. Pace, 66 entered eternal life on Wednesday, March 27, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Toney and Inez Pace, brothers, James and Joe Pace.

Floyd served in the United States Army with the "Big Red One" 1st Infantry Division in Vietnam. he was honorably discharged in 1969.

He was a 1965 graduate of Mobile County Training School. He attended college at Bishop State and the University of South Alabama and earned a Bachelors degree in Marketing. He worked for Xerox Corporation for over 34 years holding several management positions.

Floyd was a faithful member of St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church where he served as an acolyte and Eucharistic Minister. He was a dedicated member of the Santa Maria Council 7402 of the Knights of Columbus where he was Past Grand Knight. He was also Past District Deputy for District 2, and a member of the 4th Degree Deluna Assembly 156 and the Color Corps.

Floyd loved golfing and cooking. He was an avid Bama fan! He is loved dearly and will be greatly missed.

Memories of Floyd will be forever cherished by his devoted wife, Rita Holley Pace; daughter; Jennifer (Reggie) Kennedy, sons; Sean (Tasha) Pace and Sean Bedford. Stepchildren; Justin and Ryan Barge, Mike (Gina) Hall, Marc (Andranette) Hall, and Blanche Hall. A sister, Henretta Howze, fourteen grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at St Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, Cantonment, Florida at 5 p.m. followed by the Vigil Service and Visitation at 6p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Mary Catholic Church, Pensacola, Florida on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 10a.m. with Bishop Martin D. Holley, Auxiliary Bishop of Washington. DC, as main celebrant.
