Frank Bruce Hardeman, 76, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away, Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Sacred Heart Hospital. Bruce was born February 4, 1936 in Gloucester, Massachusetts to George and Elizabeth (Mackey) Hardeman. On August 8, 1958 he married Mary Ann Montgomery in Pensacola, Florida. Bruce was employed as an independent floor covering contractor for Sears over thirty-five years. He enjoyed to work and only retired a few years prior to his passing. He was
an avid golfer and had been a member of Osceola Municipal Golf Course. He also enjoyed crossword puzzles and became very fond of social networking on Facebook in his older age.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Elizabeth Hardeman; two brothers, Steven Hardeman and Leonard Hardeman; and one sister, Judy Carrol.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Hardeman; two daughters, Glenda Parrish and her husband Duayne of Hillister, TX, Cathy Murphy and her husband Karl of Pensacola, FL; two brothers, George Hardeman and Jerry Hardeman; six grandchildren, Michelle and her husband Michael Longsworth, Michael and Mareasa Parrish, Sgt. Mark and Angela Rainwater, Preston Murphy, SrA. Daryl Parrish, Katie Parrish; three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 14, 2013 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South, 100 Beverly Parkway, Pensacola, FL. A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, January 15th at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South. Brother Bob Greene will be officiating. Burial will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens in Pensacola.
Pallbearers will be Joe Murphy, Bart Siders, Sgt. Mark Rainwater, SrA. Daryl Parrish, Preston Murphy, and Phillip Boutwell.
