Gayle Louise Rodriguez, 64 of Milton, FL greeted her Heavenly Father on Wed. April 2, 2014 in her home with family by her side.
Gayle was born on Dec. 15, 1949 in Providence, Rhode Island to the late Mary and Donald Campbell.
She attended Pensacola Junior College and became a medical secretary working at West Florida Hospital and Baptist Hospital. She made friends wherever she went, be it the workplace or her daughter's schools, where she volunteered. Gayle highly valued helping anyone in need. She always put other people before herself and has touched so many lives because of this.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Jim Bates.
Among the lives Gayle has touched she leaves behind her husband of 21 years, Angel Rodriguez; her daughter, Angie Rodriguez; her siblings, Shirley Radusin, Sue Garus, Sheila Scheetz, Donald Campbell Jr., Dennis Campbell, and Leonard Campbell.
Our beloved Gayle was a truly amazing woman, wife, mother, daughter, and sister. She will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives she has blessed.
Funeral services will be held at 11AM Monday, April 7, 2014 at the Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel with Rev. Doug Holmes, officiating. Burial to follow in Barrancas National Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8PM on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel.
