On Friday morning, September 20, 2013, Hector Allen Anderson, our husband, father, grandpa, "Pi-Paw" and "Papa Dude", left this life to be with God. He was surrounded by his loving family.
Allen was born on March 10, 1924 in Pensacola, FL to Martin and Margaret Anderson.
He was preceded in death by: his wife of 66 years, Germaine Poulin-Anderson (theirs was a marriage of pure love and dedication); his parents; and his siblings, Charles Anderson and Maude Gordon.
Survivors include: children, Ann Marie (Stein) Asbjornsen and John Anderson; grandchildren, Vince (Claudia), Michelle (Martin), Christopher (Sandra) and Danielle; great grandchildren, Nicholas, Gabrielle, Bianca, Valeria, Isabelle, Arianna, Lucas, and Ian; sister, Ola (Bob) Salmon; and many loving nieces, nephews, and the entire "Dude" family.
Trahan Family Funeral Home, 419 Yoakum Court, is in charge of arrangements.
Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Little Flower Catholic Church.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., with rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, September 23, 2013 at the funeral home.

Allen's motto was "God, family, and country" and he lived that motto to the fullest. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be loved and dearly missed by all who knew him.
