Janice Ann (Young) Williams

Janice Ann (Young) Williams, daughter of James A. Young and Jane A. (Fitzgerald) Young went to be with God on May 4, 2013 in Marietta, Georgia after a long battle with breast cancer. Janice was born July 6, 1950 in Quincy, Massachusetts was a 1968 graduate of Milton High School in Milton, Florida and received her BA from Colorado Technical College in 2006. She was an executive with the Suntory Water Group in New Orleans and Atlanta and an active member of the Special Olympics and Disabled Children's Advocacy Organization in Atlanta. She attended the St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Kennesaw. She is survived by her son, Justin N. Williams, Kennesaw, Georgia and her six brothers and sisters, James A (Karen) Young, Milton, Teresa Young Pierce, Pace, John F. (Julie) Young, Dallas, Frederick X. (Barbara) Young, Milton, Paul F. (Sonja) Young, Milton, and Maureen Young (Kevin) White, Pensacola, as well as numerous nephews and nieces.

Janice worked tirelessly on behalf of the disabled and was a tremendous supporter of young men and women in uniform. Her faith sustained her through her long months of battling cancer and she served as a source of encouragement for those around her. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Pallbearer will be her brothers and brother - in- law. Honorary Pallbearers will be her nephews, James A. Young III, Kevin E. White, jr., CPT Forest J. Pierce, Christopher J. White, Paul M. Young, Conner Young, John Young, Paul Young, Jack Young, Will Young and her son, Justin N. Williams.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, May 11th, 1030 am, at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Milton, Florida with interment at Bayview Memorial Park, Pensacola, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Home, 760 Pollard Boulevard SW, Atlanta, GA 30315.
