The Sun rose in Brother Jimmie Hannah's life on December 15, 1948 in Milton, Florida when he was born to Lorenzo and Mildred Hannah. In addition to his parents Jimmie was preceded in death by his wife, Eunicestine Hagans Hannah; one sister, Voncille Hannah and one granddaughter, Amanda Rose Hannah.

Jimmie Lee Hannah was educated in the public schools of Santa Rosa County.

He served his Country in the United States Army, Army Reserve and National Guard. He was a proud Retired U.S. Army serviceman after numerous years of service.

He joined Mount Zion P. B. Church at an early age and sang in the choir under the leadership of the Late Rev. Jessie James Riley, who was also his grandfather.

On January 2, 2014 the Angels of the Lord came and quietly carried Brother Jimmie Hannah home to the Master.

His love, compassion, humor, kindness, quiet, and humble spirit will be remembered by all whose lives he touched.

Jimmie leaves to cherish his memory: children: Jimmie Lee Hannah Jr., Adarryll Demarcus (Ida) Hannah, Jimiah Eunesus Hannah (Marlon Slack), and step-son, Jermaine Hudson. Eight siblings: David (Mozelle) Hannah Sr., Elizabeth (Frederick) Smith Sr., Bertha Morton, Lucile (C. T.) Johnson, Lorain (James) Luckey, Jessie (Lisa) Hannah, Mildred (Rudman) Stevens, and Linda Hannah. Ten grandchildren, and one aunt, Louise Lewis. Two devoted friends: Lana Coleman, and Emma Threatt; As well as, a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Visitation wil be from 1:30 p.m., until funeral service begins at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Mount Zion Primitive Baptist Church in Milton, FL.
