John "Ed" Crawford

1924-2013

John "Ed" Crawford, of Pensacola, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2013. Ed was in the fencing business most of his life. He served his country in the Army/Navy and later in the Air Force.

Ed will be remembered as a man who had a strong work ethic, was always there for his family, and loved unconditionally.

Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Crawford; two children, Katherine Truman and John T. Barlow; great-granddaughter, Rheannon Jennings; two brothers, Dewey and Quinnon Crawford and a sister, Bernice Chance.

He is survived by three children, Harry Barlow (Kathy), Reese Crawford (Kathy) and Frances "ReeRee" Schofield (Maynard); grandchildren, Katherine Diaz, Terry, Lil' Harry,Ted , and Larry Barlow, Katherine Jennings, Melanie Mott, Arlene Lavallee, Gerald Emmons, Jennifer Rezek, Wendy Crawford, Leslie Lamkin and Christopher Schofield; 36 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Agnes Clark; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Morgan, Chris Schofield, Gerald Emmons, Christian Rezek, Allen Lavallee and Robert Jennings.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South. Reverend Sean Rezek will officiate and burial will follow at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens.
