Nola Patrick Calcote, 86, of Pensacola died Sunday, May 11, 2014.
Mrs. Calcote was born April 25, 1928 in Pelahatchie, MS to the late Walter Rufus Patrick and Alfie Woolsey Patrick and graduated from Cross Roads High School in Pelahatchie. She married the late Willis Eugene Calcote on November 12, 1950 in Jackson, MS. Mrs. Calcote was employed with Jackson Lamp Works in Jackson, MS, packaged candy for Russell Stover Candy in Dallas, TX, and was retired from Florida National Bank (now Wells Fargo) after serving as telephone operator and a proof operator. She was also owner and officer of Cal's Wide Width Shoes. Mrs. Calcote loves basketball, square dancing and country music, but most of all she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Survivors include her son, Anthony B. Calcote; daughter, Rhonda C. Boutwell (Joseph); granddaughter, Candace M. Britt (Doug); sisters-in-law, Jean Patrick and Faye C. Smith (Carroll); brother-in-law, Jimmy Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 14, 2014 beginning at 1 PM till the service time of 2 PM at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Lentine and Doctor Alton Butler officiating.
