Pamela Sumlin Argeris
Pamela Sumlin Argeris, 48, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014.
Pamela was a native and lifelong resident of Pensacola, FL. She was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. Pamela was part of the first graduating class from Booker T. Washington High school where she later married her high school sweetheart Gus. She went on to graduate from Louisiana State University
in 1988 with her Bachelor Degree in Science and continued her journey back home in Pensacola to further her education at the University of West Florida where she received her Masters in Business Administration.
Pamela was a very avid football fan, loving to cheer on her LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints football teams. She was a caring and loving wife and mother where she was referred to as the Rock of the House. She was always the "go to" person in the family being someone the children and her husband could confide in and gain comfort in any situation. She loved her mother and father dearly and was always there for them no matter what the situation. She fought hard all the way to her last breath and took on cancer as she did life - with no regrets and head on.
She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Gus Argeris, her children Johnathon and Nikolas, step-son Tino, loving parents James & Pat Sumlin and mother-in-law Ellen Argeris (Yiayia).
Pamela was preceded in death by her father-in-law Peter Argeris and brother-in-law John Argeris.
