Robert Glenn "Bob" Hemme, 51, of Pensacola, left this world suddenly Friday afternoon, April 5, the result of a traffic accident. Bob put his hope in Jesus Christ for eternal life.
Bob was an honors graduate of Florida State University (1984), Desert Storm veteran, church children's pastor, Florida State probations officer, and teacher at Pine Forest High School. For the past year and a half, Bob has been on staff with Chick-fil-A and substitute teaching in Pensacola area schools. He continued his life-long participation in sports as an active certified soccer referee.
He is survived by his beloved wife of over thirty years, Sylvia; two sons, Cpt. Adam (Miriam) Hemme of Barstow, CA and Christian Hemme of Pensacola; his parents, David (Barbara) Hemme of Vero Beach, and Ann Hemme of Gainesville; two brothers, Bill (Tina) Hemme of Clearwater and Paul Hemme (Naomi Wong) of Wheaton, Maryland.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 9 at Marcus Pointe Baptist Church. Trahan Family Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
