Ronald Gordon Quina


Ronald Gordon Quina, of Pensacola, passed away May 16, 2014. He served his country in the United States Army and was an Escambia County teacher for 35 years, having taught at Pensacola High, Escambia High and Catholic High. He was also of the Catholic Faith. Ron loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Bessie Quina.

He is survived by two sons, Austin Quina (Amy) and Brent Quina (April); grandchildren, Gavin and Caroline Quina and Riley and Aidan Quina; five siblings, Shirley Bender, Jack Quina, Linda Landry (Greg), Susie Mills (Larry) and Karon Robinson, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Crabtree and Mark Whittaker.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 20, 2014 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service at Faith Chapel South. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.
