James "Jimi" L. Delezen, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2013. Jimi was a native and lifelong resident of the Northwest Florida area. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army 4th Calvary. He retired from NADEP with 30 years of service. Jimi coached Little League football and baseball in Milton for many years, and anyone that has ever been coached by Coach Delezen, is asked to serve as an Honorary Pallbearer at his service.
Jimi is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 44 years, JoAnn Delezen of Milton; a son and daughter in law, Jimbo and Ashlee Delezen of Milton; a daughter Joani "Buffi" Delezen of Pensacola; two grandchildren, Garrett Delezen, and Brenna Delezen; two brothers, Eddie Delezen and Dickie Delezen; Nieces and Nephews - Dena, Matt, Luke, John, Kristie and Angie; and a special great niece, Haylee.
Memorial Services will be held at 3 pm on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the Lewis Funeral Home in Milton with Rev. Jim Waters officiating.
At Jimi's request, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association or the MHS Quarterback Club.

JoAnn, Jimbo, & Buffy, y'all are in my thoughts and prayers. I know that Jimi was only my half brother, but he was always like a "BIG BROTHER" to me. I know that we all were not that close, but it seemed as if we lived in different worlds. I did enjoy the last few times that I got to see Jimi and his family. Take care of each other, and remember that there is still other family members that love and care for all of you ..... Cricket
