Armstrong
Brenson "Neal" Armstrong, 88, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017. He was born March 2, 1929 in East Brewton, Alabama.
In 1959, Neal and his wife Lennice, founded Armstrong Electric Co. in Pensacola, FL. He retired in 1987, to devote more time to his many hobbies and to travel. He and his wife have traveled to all of the 50 states. He enjoyed gardening, raising Ostrich and Emues, his last passion was raising Bora Goats. Neal was a dedicated member of the "Ensley Church of the Nazarene". He was instrumental financially and physically in helping build the new church.
He is preceded in death by his late wife, Lennice and son, Kerry. After losing his wife in 2008, Neal devoted much of his time to volunteer work with Covenant Hospice. He enjoyed helping others.
He is survived by, his four sons, Ronald (Sharon), Billy Ray, Lane (Lucy), Ricky (Dawn); 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 2 Great-great-grandchildren & extended family and dear friends.
Visitation for Mr. Armstrong will be Thursday, December 14 from 5-8PM at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Friday, December 15 at 10AM at Pensacola Memorial Gardens with Pastor Denny Wilson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Covenant Care Hospice 5041 N. 12th Ave. Pensacola, Florida 32504.

It's so sad to know that all of my mother's siblings are now gone. I have a lot of fond memories of Uncle Neal when I was young. My favorite was him taking us floundering at night. It was so cool! Love you Neal! He will be greatly missed by a lot of people!
