Carol Elizabeth Morgan Nowlin, age 51, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2008.
Mrs. Nowlin was born in Alabama, but has resided most of her life in Northwest Florida. She was a former employee of the Comptroller's Office for the Florida State University and then Pensacola Junior College. Mrs. Nowlin was an avid reader who had a passion for her horse, Cinnamon, and the two wolves she raised, Maximus and Foxey.
She is preceded in death by her father, Earl M. Morgan.
Mrs. Nowlin is survived by her husband, Joe Nowlin of Pensacola; her daughter, Tara (Brian) Nix of Lillian, AL; son, Jefferson Nowlin of Pensacola; two grandsons, Tre' Presley and Christian Presley; her mother, Thelma Lee Morgan, of Milton; step-mother, Ann Morgan, of Ft. Pierce, FL; and many other family members and friends.
Funeral service for Mrs. Nowlin will be 5:00PM, Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at LEWIS FUNERAL HOME Milton Chapel. Visitation will begin at 4:00PM, prior to service.
The family requests contributions be sent in Carol's memory to the Humane Society of Pensacola, Pet Adoption Center, 5 N. Q St., Pensacola, Florida 32505.
