CPO Gregory Joseph Sammarco, U.S.N. (Ret.), 53, of Pensacola, died Friday, November 23, 2012.
Greg was born September 29, 1959 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He retired from the U.S. Navy where he served in Special Operations.
He is survived by his wife, Denise; sons, Chase and Chadd; mother, Angie; granddaughter, Adilynn; one brother and 5 sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery with full military honors.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be John Edward Waters, Kenneth Robert Brown, Bob Price, Paul Furrey, Jr. and Robert Treis.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society "NMCRS", Attn: Amanda, 91 Radford Blvd., Building 191, Pensacola, FL 32508.
