Harley Rodger Collinsworth, Jr., 42 of Pensacola, FL, passed away Monday, December 31, 2012.
Mr. Collinsworth, Jr. was born October 5, 1970 in Milton, FL to Harley Rodger Collinsworth, Sr. and Carol Lila Hughes Brown; He was employed as a teacher in Escambia County District for five years. He taught Horticulture and Landscaping at Escambia Special Education Agriculture and Laboratory; while at ESEAL, he was selected as the school's Teacher of the Year.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harley R. Collinsworth, Sr. and his grandparents, Catherine and TA Hughes.
He is survived by his wife, Amy Elizabeth Collinsworth; children, Cody Isaac Collinsworth and William Caleb Collinsworth; mother, Carol Hughes Brown; stepmother, Jo Anne Collinsworth; stepfather, Gene Brown; sisters, Catherine Collinsworth Landers (Michael) and Melanie Beeler (Steve); brothers, Terry Brown (Cheryl), Robert Brown and David Brown (Alissa); nieces, Amy Wilbert, (Adam), Lacey Rholman, Julia Rholman; great-nephew, Eli Wilbert; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Escambia County Humane Society in Rod's memory.
Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North. Graveside service will be held at 2:00, Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Gaskin Baptist Church Cemetery in Gaskin, Florida.
