Marylou Noyes was born January 15, 1934 in Palmer, KS. While living in Kansas, she met the love of her life, Bob, married and began an adventure as a military wife. Twenty years later, she found herself returning to Pensacola to raise her 3 children and celebrate 59 years of marriage. For a number of years, Marylou enjoyed working outside the home as the interior plant and greenhouse maintenance person for the Medical Center Clinic, P.A. Upon her retirement, she continued a very active life that included cherished time spent with children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening, bird watching, Bible study, book club, volunteering and fellowship as an active member of Grace Lutheran Church. Her death leaves a hole in her community and a bigger hole in the hearts of both friends and family.
Marylou is preceded in death by her parents; William John Lange and Caroline Emily Anna Lange; one brother, Eldred Lange and one sister, Marge Winter.
Survivors include her loving husband, Robert J. Noyes; daughter, Terry Lynn (H. Michael) Weis; daughter, Tina Anne Dunn; son, Scott Michael Noyes; grandchildren, Jeremy (Amanda) Dunn, Robert (Jackie) Weis, Krystin (W. Brian) Johnson, Elisabeth (Thomas) Ward and Allison Weis; great grandchildren, Gabriella and Griffin Dunn, Stella and Henry Weis, Roan Johnson and Thomas Ward IV; brother, Lyle Lange; sister, Colleen Rhodes; brothers, Ronald (Mary Lou) and Roger (Edith) Lange; sister in law, Mary Ann Lange and brother in law, Delbert Winter all of Kansas along with numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Harper Morris Memorial Chapel. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, November 15, 2013 at Grace Lutheran Church with Rev. Stephen Linck officiating. Burial will follow in Barrancas National Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Jeremy Dunn, Robert Weis, Brian Richards, Moises Rodriguez, Patrick Imhof, Jr. and Glen Fisk.
Honorary pallbearers will include Brian Johnson, Michael Imhof and Dannie Gavin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Family Services, 1901 N. Palafox, Pensacola, FL 32501, in memory of Marylou Noyes.
