On Thursday morning, October 24, 2013, Patsy Hudson, peacefully landed at the gate of the Father.

Patsy was born on September 20 1938, in her native home of Pensacola, Florida. Patsy attended the public schools of Escambia County, graduating from Booker T. Washington High School class of 1956. She was hired at Monsanto in 1964 and retired in 1994 as a Quality Control Technician. She served as a volunteer worker with the Senior Spirit Program of Sacred Heart Hospital.

She confessed Christ and united with Talbot Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church. Her Christian involvement included President of the Conference Ushers, Representative of the Church Women United, President of the Stewardess Board, member of the Deaconess Board, President of Usher Board #1 and Leader of class #4.

Patsy was a faithful and dedicated member and severed as District Deputy Grand Worthy Matron of Jerusalem Grand Chapter Order of Eastern Star.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband Leonard Hudson, her devoted and loving son Jesse (Monique) Turner, Step children Debra Gully, Sandra Shoemo of Pensacola Florida and Tony Nolen of Detroit Mich., son-n-law Raymond (Ricco) James of Tallahassee Florida, her brother Wesley (Cherry) Knight, her grandchildren Jesse Turner II of Houston Texas, Aaron Turner of San Diego California, Alexys James and Raymond James of Tallahassee Florida, Shameka Abney and Lakesha Williams of Pensacola Florida, Antoinette Johnson of Detroit Mich., nieces and nephew includes Wanda Knight, Sharon Hamilton, Antoine (Sylvia) Knight and Leslie (Kevin) Savage of Atlanta Georgia, and a host of other relatives, and devoted friends.

Wake: Friday 6:00 -7:00pm, at Joe Morris Funeral Home; Funeral will be Saturday 11:00am at Talbot Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church
