Robert Earl "Bob" Acree, age 66, of Pensacola, FL, passed away Sunday October 10, 2010. He was born October 30, 1943 in Milton, FL to Lillian F. Dewberry Acree and the late Benjamin Rushton Acree.

Robert was a United States Air Force Veteran having served from December 1961 until June 1969. He worked for the NAS Civil Service for 33 years from 1970 until his retirement in 1993 as an aircraft electrician. After retiring from the Civil Service he worked for Raytheon in Pensacola from 1993 until 1997.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Benjamin and Larry Acree.
Survivors include his loving wife, Mary Ann Acree; his mother Frances Acree; two children, Sherry (Jimmy) Hardin and James Acree; two grandsons, Ethan and Nathan Hardin; brothers and sisters, Carolyn (Hugh) Turman, Betty (Pat)Burleson, Justan (Jackie) Acree, Nelda (Tony) Cozart and Roger (Peggy) Acree; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Thursday October 14, 2010 at Barrancas National Cemetery at 1:15 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 Noon until 1 PM.
The family would like to thank Covenant Hospice of Milton and the Specialty Center of Pensacola. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice of Milton or any charity of your choice.
Oak Lawn Funeral Home of Pensacola has been entrusted with the arrangements.
