Robert (Bob) True
Robert (Bob) True Johnson, 81, of Pensacola, FL, passed away on April 5, 2014. Bob served his country in the United States Army. He started teaching at FWB High School, then went on to teach at Pensacola State College as Professor of English and Speech until his retirement. He was an avid reader and enjoyed travel. Bob accomplished his greatest travel dream when he traveled to the South Pacific where he visited Fiji, New Zealand and Australia with his godson Sonny. He was a passionate animal lover and especially loved dogs.
Bob is predeceased by his mother and father, Robert and Ann Marie Johnson and one brother, Clint Johnson.
Surviving are his godson, Sonny Parazine, close friends Ronnie Smith, Dennis Boyum, one brother, Tim Johnson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM on Tuesday, April 8, at Family-Funeral & Cremation with the service at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, April 9, followed by interment at Roberts Cemetery.
