Teresa Ann Seiler, 57, of Pensacola, FL passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Shands Hospital, Gainesville, FL.
Teresa was born in Pensacola on September 26, 1955 to Lenore Ruth and Harry A. Presley, Sr. She graduated from Escambia High School in 1973, attended Pensacola Jr. College and completed the Respiratory Therapy Program in 1977. She began her career at West FL Hospital, where she has been employed for the past 35 yrs. Teresa was Director of the Respiratory Therapy Department at the time of her death. She was loved and respected by her extended family of co-workers and close friends. Her dedication to patients and their families has not been forgotten over her many years of service. Teresa touched the lives of patients and offered comfort to their families.
Teresa was a member of the Pensacola and American Rose Societies. She spent many years, with her husband, Henry, tending their rose garden and traveling to rose shows. They enjoyed sharing these beautiful roses with family and friends. Teresa lovingly supported her husband, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and numerous family members. She always went the extra mile to care for her family. Teresa enjoyed attending yearly retreats, with her sisters, at Visitation Monastery in Mobile, AL. She is preceded in death by her parents; identical twin sister, Elissa Ann; brothers, Harry A. Presley, Jr. and Richard Keith Presley.
She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Henry; brother, Stephen Presley (Stacy); three sisters, Karen Gallacher (Jay), Renee Diamond and Cindy Kreidler; sister-in-law, Sera Crumley (Bob); two brother-in-laws, John Seiler (Brenda) and George Seiler (Diana); as well as nieces, nephews and god children.
Visitation will be held 10:00am until the Funeral Mass to begin at 11:00am Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart with Msgr. Michael Reed celebrant. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Petersen, Ryan Petersen, Allen Presley, David Garrison, Jeremy Davis, Aaron Goldy and Duaine Arnold.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sisters of Visitation, 2300 Springhill Ave., Mobile, AL 36607-3202 (Renovations of Retreat House & Monastery)
