Omalee Richards Lynn

1936 - 2014

Omalee Lynn, age 77, went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, February 1, 2014 after a brief illness. Raised in the Pensacola area, she retired from Sears and Roebuck but continued to serve others, most recently in the kitchen at Olive Baptist Church. She was a Godly woman who looked for the good in everyone and every situation.

To cherish her memory, she left behind the love of her life, her husband of 57 years, Benjamin; daughter Bonnie (Rocky) Peebles; granddaughters, Kristy (Rusty) Hunt, Brandie (Robert) Ratcliff ; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Gay (Buddy) Parazine; brother, Wesley (Mary Ann) Richards and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Vivian Richards; sons, Bobby and Michael and daughter Tammy.

Visitation will be at Faith Chapel North on Monday, February 3, 2014 from 5:00pm-7:00pm.

Services will be Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Faith Chapel North with Dr. Ted Traylor officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Olive Baptist Church mission services or the Building Fund.
