Larry "Cody" Austin


Larry "Cody" Austin, of Pensacola, passed away March 12, 2014. He was an avid reader and enjoyed helping others. He loved music and he was a hard worker. He was compassionate and lived by the motto "Live & Love". He was a wonderful brother, a great uncle and a loving step-father. He had a passion for life.

Cody was preceded in death by his great-grandmothers, Hazel Yorkwitz, Nell McBride Austin and Nellie Read; grandfather, Al Hylton and great-grandfather, Harley Read.

He is survived by his mother, Lisa (Jimmy) Hylton; father, Edward (Sandra Bush) Austin; brothers, Billy Stiffey (Jennifer Sell) and Jeremy Austin (Heather Stevenson); grandparents, Larry and Sandra Starkey, Edward and Nell Austin and Kenny and Cathie Silcox; great-grandfather, Marion Hill; nieces and nephews, Brooklyn, David, Natalia and Jayce; aunts and uncles, Liz, Mark, Suzie, Ronnie, Laura, Pat, Andy, Mandi, Peg, and Kevin; his beloved girlfriend, Annie Wilkerson and her children, Shawn, Keaten, and Kelsey Beasley and close friend, Austin Halley.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Austin, Billy Stiffey, Casey Hayes, Jeremy Hardin, Andrew Starkey and Keaten Beasley.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South. Funeral services will be Friday, March 21, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
