Faustine Eagerton McBride

1923 - 2014

"Together Again"

Faustine Eagerton McBride was born on October 27, 1923 in Ariton, AL to Millard and Clara Eagerton. She graduated from Chumuckla High School and was a member of Olive Baptist Church.

She retired from Chemstrand (Monsanto) and then enjoyed many years of traveling with her husband in their Winnebago taking fishing trips to DeLand, FL and taking their grandkids to Disney World. They also enjoyed attending the many activities of their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Oswal E. "Red" McBride, her parents, brother Horace Eagerton, and sister Gertrude Mason.

Faustine is survived by her son and his wife, Ed and Rebecca McBride; a daughter and her husband, Barbara and Dane Allen; four grandchildren, Jeff Allen, Staci Yates, Randy McBride, and Amy (Darren) Robinson; five great-grandchildren, Kinsey Hassell, Jake McBride, Bryce Yates, Haley Robinson, and Luke Robinson; sister Margaret Albritton, and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 9:00am followed by the funeral service at 10:00am at Faith Chapel North with Dr. Ted Traylor officiating. Burial will be held immediately following the service at Barrancas National Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Olive Baptist Church Ministry Village or Emerald Coast Hospice.
