Pamela Jean McCoy Way, 60, of Pensacola passed away on June 10, 2014 following a long battle with cancer. She was born in Detroit, MI on January 6, 1954 to parents, Lawrence and Betty (Barlow) Boisvenu Sr. She had moved to Pensacola in 1979 from California.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, James Way Sr.; grandchildren, Brianna and Trey Stewart; her parents; brother, Lawrence Boisvenu Jr.; and sister, Christina Boisvenu.
Survivors include her daughters, Kari (Austin) McCoy Hitchcock and Kimberly McCoy Stewart, both of Pensacola and extended step-children. She is also survived by her sisters, Cheryl Boisvenu and Terrie (Roy) Boisvenu-Hoatland, seven grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Trahan Family Funeral Home, 419 Yoakum Court, is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until funeral service begins at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 16, 2014 at the funeral home with Pastor David Rogers officiating.
Intombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
