Fillmore L. Enfinger
Rev. F.L. Enfinger passed from this life and was received by his Lord on July 5, 2014. He was a life-long resident of Escambia County, Florida. He was born and raised in Molino and was one of the few remaining graduates at the old Molino School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. During his ministry, he pastored Eighth Ave. Baptist Church (Beulah), Ray's Chapel Baptist Church (McDavid), Six Mile Creek Baptist Church (Tampa) and First Baptist of Cottage Hill (Cantonment). Earlier in life, he also worked 24 years at St. Regis Paper Company. Rev. Enfinger was will loved and respected by all who knew him. North Escambia County had lost a great man and a humble minister. Our loss is Heaven's gain.
Rev. Enfinger was preceded in death by his parents, Wiley and Mattie Enfinger; three brothers, Kenneth, Melvin and James Enfinger and one grandson, Dale Nathan Enfinger, Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Fant Enfinger; his three sons, Randy (Denise), Wesley (Lisa) and Dale (Cora); brother, Everette Enfinger; ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and a world of friends.
Visitation will be Monday, July 7, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Faith Chapel North. Funeral service will be Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 11:00 am at Faith Chapel North.
