Ervin Walker "E.W." Jordan, age 89, of Pensacola, FL, went to be with his Lord Saturday, August 9, 2014. He was born December 2, 1924 in Hartsville, South Carolina to the late Andrew Jackson Jordan and Nancy Ann Wood Jordan.
Mr. Jordan was a United States Navy Veteran having served in WWII. One of the most memorable and moving events in his life was the privilege of going on the Freedom Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. to visit the WWII Monument. His favorite past time and hobby was fishing, he loved to fish. He was also a member of the Masons and the Shriners.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Grace Jordan; his son, Michael (Debbie) Jordan of Chapin, SC; his daughters, Loretta (Jeff) Layton of Washougal, Washington and Lisa Dominquez of Ridgeland, SC; his grandchildren, Jeannie Vega, Erik Lee, Heather Lee and Christopher Jordan; and a great grandchild, Ruben Vega Bjorkoy.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at 10 AM at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Orville Pierce officiating. Interment will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9 AM until the service hour. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the
