1926-2011

George Arnold Fleming, 85, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 29th, 2011 in Gulf Breeze.

Mr. Fleming retired from Wisconsin Electric in the early 1990's and moved to Gulf Breeze with his wife Dorothy J. Fleming. Mr. Fleming proudly served his country during World War II as a member of the United States Navy.

Mr. Fleming is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years Dorothy J. Fleming who passed away in February of this year.

He is survived by his daughter; Polly May Myers and his granddaughter; Katherine Claire May. He is also survived by his brother; Clyde Fleming of California, and two sisters; Betty Stutler of Arizona and Glenda McQuain of West Virginia.

The family would like to give special thanks to Bay Breeze Nursing Home. The entire staff is truly a professional, loving, and care giving community, they took such great care of Mr. George and to those special nurses and CNA's, you know who you are. The family would also like to give thanks to Kimberly Griffith, "Catfish", for her compassion and love over the last two years.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Alzheimer's Society.

A graveside service will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery on December 23, 2011 at 11:45 am.
